Catching the L train from Brooklyn to Midtown seems to take longer every day- but the PATH train from Jersey City will get you to Greenwich Village in just over 15 minutes, while it only takes 5 to get to the World Trade Center. If you love food there is a plethora of trendy eateries that are highly rated, and many are run by former NYC chefs. Even better, a visit to them won’t break the bank. Jersey City has been building big, so there is plenty of room for new residents. If you’re a beach lover, Jersey City is just an hour drive or train ride from the shores of Asbury Park. Another twenty minutes takes you to Seaside Heights- plus, there’s no need to deal with tunnels, bridges, or New York traffic. Oh, yeah living in Jersey City means a parking space in front of your home- because residents can obtain a parking permit for the street.
There is no need to deal with the stress of NYC, when you instead you can live in Jersey City and avoid the congestion. You’ll feel the stress wash away the second you exit the PATH train.
